Born in Dolores, Abra, the Philippines, he was a retired seed “pulapula” truck driver for the former Hamakua Sugar Co., former newspaper delivery person for the Tribune-Herald, Hawaii Army National Guard veteran and an honored Sakada on Sakada Day, Dec. 20, 2015. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Friday (Oct. 7) at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Laupahoehoe. Funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow at Alae Cemetery. Casual attire.
