Agnes Tsuruko Ariyoshi, 98, of Makawao, Maui, formerly of Pahala, died Sept. 1 at home. Born in Kaalaiki Hilea, Ka‘u, she was a retired licensed practical nurse for Ka‘u Hospital. Services held. Survived by son, Ralph (Pauline) Iwane; daughter, Lois (Nelson) Nishikawa; brother, James Takeuchi; sisters, Harumi Ikeda and Satsue Yoshishige; five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
