A Wednesday fire burned about four acres of brush land in Ka‘u.

Eight units responded to a 9:01 a.m. alarm to Ninole Loop below Sea Mountain Colony One Condominiums in Punaluu.

The fire was brought under control at 9:45 a.m. and extinguished at 3 p.m., according to a written Fire Department statement.

No developed property was damaged.
