Marilyn Jenkins Christensen, 97, of Kailua-Kona died Oct. 19 at Hospice of Kona Nakamaru Hale. Born in San Francisco, she was a retired vice chancellor of student affairs at the University of California-Davis and member of Dance Hawaii Lanakila Congregational Church, where she served as pianist for many years. Memorial service Sunday, Nov. 27, at 11 a.m. at Lanakila Congregational Church in Kainaliu. Fellowship to follow in the church hall. Casual attire; no flowers. Memorial donations to Hospice of Kona.
