A will is one of the most important legal documents and the greatest gift that you can give your family to clarify your wishes and keep peace among loved ones.
Yet, statistics show that 70-80 percent of the population does not have a current or up-to-date will.
“Give your family the best gift you can — complete your will!” said Warren Chong, an independent associate with LegalShield.
Chong will show how to prepare your “love letter” for your family at a basic estate planning workshop at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hawaii Innovation Center Conference Room, 117 Keawe St. in Downtown Hilo.
Information and a will questionnaire will be provided to help participants complete this important document.
