The Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii was the most recent beneficiary of the Ohana Fuels “Fuel Up. Do Good.” program.

Ohana Fuels partners with nonprofit organizations that serve the needs of the local community and donates a portion of every gallon of gasoline and diesel purchased at all Ohana Fuels stations in that community.

A portion of all third-quarter sales in the amount of $9,182.11 was donated to the Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii.

The nonprofit Friends of the Children’s Justice Center of East Hawaii is dedicated to supporting the East Hawaii Children’s Justice Center in it’s mission to assist abused children.

Robin Benedict, program director for the Friends, said the donation will go a long way in supporting the center and helping a child be a child again.

“At Ohana Fuels we are proud to support local nonprofit organizations through our ‘Fuel Pp. Do Good.’ community giving program,” said Kimo Haynes, president of Hawaii Petroleum. “We value the exceptional work these nonprofits do to help local residents and neighborhoods.
