Hilo Shopping Center welcomes everyone to its annual Christmas Craft Fair from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday. The event is free.
Once again, shoppers can greet their favorite crafters and see their new work for the holiday season.
“This is the craft fair where you can find all the gifts you need for those almost-last-minute presents,” said Marcia Prose, coordinator of the fair. “Jewelry, sewn items, photography, goods for the kitchen, baby things and pretty items to ‘deck your own halls.’
Prose said all the vendors are selling crafts they made and there are no “re-sellers” allowed.
“If you’re hungry, you’ll find goodies for sale outside under the covered sidewalk in addition to all the crafters displaying their goods inside and outside the mall,” Prose said. “We look forward to seeing all our friends come to shop and see what clever new things our crafters have created.”
The Hilo Shopping Center, a Hilo landmark for more than 50 years, is located in the heart of Hilo on Kilauea Street at the corner of Kekuanaoa Avenue.
