Joseph “Jojo” “Hoss” Gregory Carvalho, 62, of Hilo, died Nov. 23 at the Hospice of Hilo’s Pohai Malama Facility. Born in Hilo, he was a security guard for numerous companies, a member of the Abbey Road Gang, a former member of Koa Puna Motorcycle Club and a former band member of Waimanu. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 17) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo. Funeral service at 6 p.m. Cremation to follow. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Kathy Carvalho of Hilo; daughter, Melanie (Dale) Kaho’oilihala of Hilo; brothers, Robert (Daisy) Naihe of Hilo and Herbert Naihe of Oahu; sisters, Gladys Berrios of Hilo and Margo Gonsalves of Calif.; two grandsons; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Romeo Raymond Rivera, 67, of Holualoa died Nov. 16 at the Kona Community Hospital.
