Hawaii Electric Light Co. announced Tuesday it completed improvements to the underground fuel supply line on Banyan Way in Hilo.
The route between Kalanianaole Avenue and Hilo Seaside Hotel is fully open again.
Improvements were part of an effort to “ensure service reliability and environmental protection,” the company said in its announcement.
It thanked the community for patience and understanding, along with businesses in the affected area.
