This photograph from the Lyman Museum’s John Howard Pierce Photography Collection, No. 20583, was first published in the June 11, 2016, edition of the Tribune-Herald. Pictured is Takumi Izuno, left, research coordinator and superintendent at the John H.l.Beaumont Agricultural Research Center, where the photo was captured May 6, 1965.
