Imagine if you could help a child read.

An adult succeed in his or her job.
A senior citizen maintain his or her independence.
And provide a community with more opportunities to grow and thrive.
It’s Lions In Sight Month, and Hawaii Lions clubs will be collecting used prescription eyeglasses and sunglasses from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Wal-Mart stores in Hilo and Kona. Glasses collected will be recycled and distributed to those in need in developing countries, where eye care often is unaffordable and inaccessible.
Hearing aids also will be collected.
For more information, contact the Lions Club that serves your community.
