Helene Yoshimi Saruwatari Ikeda, 90, of Hilo died Dec. 26 at Hilo Medical Center. Born in Hakalau, she was retired from the former MJS Music Store and a member of New Hope Hilo Hawaii and Kaumana Rise Association. Visitation 9-10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 13, at New Hope Hilo Hawaii, 840 Kupulau Road. Memorial service at 10 a.m. Casual attire; no flowers. Survived by daughter, Renee Ikeda Wolfgang of Oak Harbor, Wash.; sons, Miles (Lisa) Ikeda and Eric Tamashiro of Honolulu; siblings, Jane Hata, George (Dorothy) Hirowatari and Asako Shitabata; sisters-in-law, Sue Saruwatari and Val Saruwatari; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Blossom Pualani Leong Jamison, 89, of Waimea, formerly of Oahu, died Dec. 11 at home. Born in Hookena, South Kona, she was a retired Picker International office manager and member of the Hawaiian Girls Golf Club and Moanalua Golf Course. Visitation 8-9:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 21, at Diamond Head Memorial Park Chapel in Honolulu. Service at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow luncheon. Aloha attire; flowers welcome. Survived by sons, Alika (Luana) Lincoln of Waimea and George (Kristy) Lincoln of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; brother, Royal (Leilani) Leong of Honolulu; five grandchildren and seven great-grandsons; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Frank Louis Genescritti Sr., 81, of Kailua-Kona and Portola, Calif., died Jan. 3 at his Kailua-Kona home. Born in Chicago, he was a retired roofing estimator and U.S. Navy veteran.
