Dorothy Tomoe Caravalho, 92, of Honokaa died Dec. 14 at Hale Hoola Hamakua. Born in Pahala, she was a homemaker, retired from Tex’s Drive Inn and the former Honokaa Dairy Queen, and a member of Honokaa Senior Club. Private service at a later date. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by daughters, Linda (Ken) Fischer and Carol (Craig) Yamaguchi of Waimea; son, Henry (Carla van Vliet) Caravalho Jr. of Waikoloa; sister, Peggy Nakano of Honolulu; brothers, Masa Nakano of Honolulu and Harry (Lily) Nakano of Waimea; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Terry Glen Smith, 66, of Kailua-Kona died Dec. 19 in Kealakekua. Born in Okefenokee, Ga., he owned T.S. George Seigo Yuda, 82, of Hilo died Dec. 24 at home. Born in Hilo, he was an attorney at George S. Yuda Attorney at Law, retired per diem district and family court judge and member of the Hawaii Bar Association and Panaewa Kumiai. Visitation 2-4 p.m. Monday (Jan. 16) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel.
