James “Dosay” Isamu Chinen, 68, of Hilo died Dec. 18 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Hakalau, he was a retired auto mechanic and U.S. Army Reserve veteran. Services held. Doris Mae deLumeau, 92, of Jacksonville, Fla., died Jan. 7 in Ocean View.
