Carriage driving group to meet

Carriage driving group to meet

The Hawaii Carriage Driving Society is hosting its annual general membership meeting at noon Jan. 28 at the Paniolo Restaurant in Waimea.

President Gary Grisham will be conducting the meeting. Pizza and ice tea will be served.

People interested in the art and enjoyment of all phases of carriage driving are encouraged to attend, become members of an active and fun organization and add their equine expertise to HCDS’s efforts.

The HCDS not only trains and drives carriage equine (they have a donkey member, Tattoo), it also identifies and refurbishes older carriages, visits carriage collections and are members of national carriage driving associations: the American Driving Society and the Carriage Association of America.

For more information, contact John FitzGerald, HCDS activities and membership chairman, at 987-4947 or fits@maui.net.
