Qigong master Liu Jianshe from China is offering a free workshop for keiki (ages 8-15) Jan. 28-29 and an adult retreat Feb. 1-5 on the Big Island.

Liu worked for many years at the Huaxia Qigong Centre (also known as the Medicine-less Hospital). He trained with Dr. Pang Ming and eventually became chief of the recovery unit.

He has spread zhineng qigong throughout China, Europe, South Africa, the U.S. and South America and witnessed many marvels of healing.

All proceeds will benefit Kokolulu Farm and the nonprofit Cancer Retreats in Hawi.
