Police arrested 27-year-old Leilani Torres of Pahoa, who was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant.

Police arrested 27-year-old Leilani Torres of Pahoa, who was wanted on an outstanding bench warrant.

She was apprehended Monday evening in Hilo and charged with violating terms of a deferred plea. Her bail was set at $10,000.

She also was arrested on suspicion of unauthorized control of a stolen vehicle and reckless driving. Those offenses are still under investigation.

Torres, who is featured on the cable access program “Hawaii Island’s Most Wanted,” was detained overnight at the Hilo police cellblock until her appearance for the warrant Tuesday in Hilo Circuit Court.
