Clyde “Aku” Timoteo Canida, 68, of Keaau died Feb. 2 at the Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama a Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Care Center. Born in Punene, Maui, he was an iron worker. Lucio Marcus Dela Cruz, 61, of Kurtistown died Jan. 28 at Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Private services to be held. Stanley Kaulana Palama Sr., 71, of Hilo died Dec. 15, 2016. Born in Koloa, Kauai, he retired as a heavy equipment operator, working for the Local 3 Union.
