The University of Hawaii is seeking to fill its open Hawaii County seat on the Board of Regents.

The University of Hawaii is seeking to fill its open Hawaii County seat on the Board of Regents.

The person chosen will begin an interim appointment upon approval and serve until June 30, 2018. They will replace Barry T. Mizuno, who died in November following an illness.

The board is the governing body of the UH system. It’s comprised of 15 people, all serving voluntarily and representing various constituent groups.
