Born in Hilo, he was a retired heavy equipment mechanic for Ka‘u Agribusiness and member of the Heritage Christian Fellowship in Hilo. Visitation 5-6 p.m. Monday (Feb. 27) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Funeral service at 6 p.m. Cremation to follow; scattering of ashes 11 a.m. Saturday, March 4, at Pohoiki beach. Casual attire; flowers welcome.
