VOLCANO ART CENTER 13TH ANNUAL LOVE THE ARTS FUNDRAISER

Details: Hale Ho‘omana will be decked out for “Singin’ in the Rainforest,” with beautiful, one-of-a-kind umbrellas painted by Big Island artists. Guests will be treated to an evening of fine wine, brews, a luxurious gourmet buffet and spirited Hawaiian music. The live and silent auctions will feature unique offerings including original artwork, hotel stays, tours and jewelry. EXPLORING TUNNEL BOOKS

Details: Get ready to take a trip down the rabbit hole in an adventurous tunnel bookbinding workshop, where your imagination is your only limit. A tunnel book is made up of pages bound by accordion folds on both sides and is “read” through a hole in the cover and a cutout in each page, allowing all pages to be seen at once, front to back.
