Harold Hajime Yamabe, 103, of Honolulu died Jan. 13 at Hale Ho Aloha nursing home. Born in Punaluu, Ka‘u, he was a U.S. Army 442nd Regimental Combat Team Service Company veteran, a car salesman for Honolulu Ford and owner of the former Hal’s Electric Supply. Services held. Survived by sons, Rodney (Yuni) Yamabe of Honolulu and Randall (Verna) Yamabe of Captain Cook; sisters, Bernice Asano of California and Sue Takahama of Oahu; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
