James “Jim” Patrick McQuaid, 99, of Keauhou died Feb. 25 at Hospice of Kona Nakamaru Hale in Holualoa. Born in Darlington, Wis., he was a retired business owner, member and past president of Kona Men’s Golf Club and U.S. Army World War II veteran. Celebration of life 1-4 p.m. Saturday (March 4) at Amici’s Restaurant at Kona Country Club. No flowers. Memorial donations to a favorite youth golf organization.
