Born in Waipunalei, he was a retired diesel mechanic for the former Hamakua Sugar Co., member of Honokaa Hongwanji Mission, Hamakua Country Club, Hui Uruma Club, ILWU Local 142, former member of Civil Service Commission and U.S. Army World War II veteran. Visitation 4-5 p.m. Tuesday (March 21) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel. Memorial service at 5 p.m. Graveside urn committal service 9 a.m. Wednesday (March 22) at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2.
