Aloha Performing Arts Company is hosting its annual major fundraising gala at 6 p.m. today at the Aloha Theatre in Kainaliu.
This year’s event, titled “Superstars of APAC,” will feature fine wine, local beers and gourmet pupus supplied by Color Catering, as well as two acts of entertainment featuring APAC volunteer performers and a few surprise guest artists.
A silent auction will feature artwork, hotel and restaurant gift certificates, jewelry, specialty goods and services, various island activity packages and more.
Production ticket prices cover only about one-third of the theater company’s operating expenses, so donors are critical to APAC’s future, especially now, as the new owners of the historic Aloha Theatre.
The annual gala helps APAC continue to provide quality live theater productions and educational opportunities to the West Hawaii community. Tickets for the gala are $85 and can be purchased online at AlohaTheatre.com. For more information, call 322-9924.
