Nancy Zung Fung Chu, 87, of Hilo, formerly of Honolulu, died Feb. 24 at Hospice of Hilo Pohai Malama Care Center. Born in Shanghai, she was a former restaurant manager. Services held. No flowers or koden (monetary gifts). Survived by husband, William Chu of Honolulu; daughter, Yvonne (Spencer) Oliver of Hilo; sons, Peter (Andrea) Chu of San Diego and Barry Chu of Waikoloa; brothers, Robert (Judy) Chang of Honolulu and Luke (Alice) Chang of San Francisco; sisters, Anita Ni of Hamburg, Germany, Mimi Fan of Honolulu and Pansy (Wayne) Wilson of San Diego; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; nephews, nieces and cousins.
