Born in Morton Camp, Papaikou, she was a teacher’s aide at Kapiolani and Laupahoehoe schools, and retired from Waiakea High School. She was a former 4-H and Brownie leader, former pitcher for the Papaikou Babes softball team and expert lei maker. Visitation 6-9 p.m. Wednesday (April 26) at Dodo Mortuary Chapel in Hilo.
