Mariko K. Hong, 94, of Issaquah, Wash., formerly of Hilo, died March 28 at Aegis Living of Issaquah. Born in Honolulu, she was a retired substitute teacher, volunteer at East Hawaii Cultural Center and an ESL tutor for adult education programs. Private services held.
