Michael Joseph Moynahan, 78, of Waimea died March 16 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Honolulu, he was the owner of Kamaaina Golf Makers and a U.S. Navy veteran. Private services on Oahu. Alice Solywoda, 94, of Hilo died April 5 at Life Care Center of Hilo. Born in Warsaw, Poland, she was a homemaker and member of Pahoa Sacred Heart and St. Joseph Catholic churches. Graveside urn committal services at noon Tuesday (April 25) at Hawaii Veterans Cemetery No. 2. Survived by sons, Thomas (Marian) Solywoda of Keaau, Andrew (Dottie) Solywoda of Pasadena, Md., and Philip (Sue) Solywoda of Hilo; daughters, Lucille (Jan) Horak of Scottsdale, Ariz., Donna (Augie) Rodriguez of Costa Mesa, Calif., and Lois (John) McGuire of Mountain View; daughter-in-law, Pia Solywoda of Honolulu; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
