Hilo Circuit Judge Greg Nakamura ordered a mental examination for Beck, who faces two counts of first-degree robbery and a single count of attempted first-degree robbery for the alleged incidents last month in Puna. Beck’s next court hearing is scheduled for 8:30 a.m. July 31.
