Ernesto Diosan Buenavista, 73, of Kailua-Kona died March 29 at home. Born in Ilocos Sur, the Philippines, he was a kitchen utility worker at King Kamehameha Hotel and member of The Hub Church. Wake service 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 5, at Old Kona Airport Park Makaeo Pavilion. Visitation 8-9 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at the pavilion. Funeral service at 9 a.m. Casual attire; flowers welcome.
