Police are investigating an early morning shooting that occurred in Hilo. At about 1:55 a.m. this morning, officers responded to a report of a man who had been shot on Hinano Street.
Police are investigating an early morning shooting that occurred in Hilo. At about 1:55 a.m. this morning, officers responded to a report of a man who had been shot on Hinano Street.
The victim was identified as a 40-year-old man who lives at the Hinano Street home. The victim appeared to have a single gunshot wound to his head and was taken, unresponsive, to Hilo Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.
Police have not identified a suspect or motive for the shooting and ask anyone with information to please call police.
