Born in Honolulu, he was an assistant baker for the former Hilo Macaroni Factory, former cook for Atebara Chips and member of the Salvation Army Hilo Temple Corps. Memorial service 10 a.m. Saturday (May 27) at the Salvation Army Hilo Temple Corps, 219 Ponahawai St. Casual attire. Survived by wife, Cassandra Sandy Cordeiro-Gaspar; sons, Ricardo “Kawika” (Nohelani) Cordeiro and Elliot Kaimi; daughters, Lieselotte “Kanani” Cordeiro and Catherine Gouveia; hanai parents, John and Jeanette Gouveia; hanai children; 13 grandchildren; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
