Police are investigating the death of a man whose partially clothed and decomposing body was found Sunday morning floating in a pool at the bottom of a large waterfall in North Kohala.
Police are investigating the death of a man whose partially clothed and decomposing body was found Sunday morning floating in a pool at the bottom of a large waterfall in North Kohala.
According to a written Fire Department statement, kayakers found the man in the remote coastal area just south of Honopue Valley and notified authorities shortly before 11 a.m.
The body was recovered by county helicopter.
