St. Joseph School honored 26 seniors who graduated May 26 during a commencement ceremony at St. Joseph Church.

“Congratulations to the St. Joseph School 2017 graduating class on a job well done,” said Principal Dr. Llewellyn Young. “I’m very proud of all our students, and I know they will do great things for the community at large.”

Due to the caliber of this year’s graduating students, administration and faculty selected four students for the top two graduating positions — one valedictorian and three salutatorians.

Kaile Marie Nami Holzman was valedictorian and Jasmine-Rae Peregrino de la Cruz, Striesand Tumaneng Galdones and Daniel Shogo Honda were salutatorians.

Holzman, will attend California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and major in computer science. She is the daughter of Mark and Wanda Holzman.

De la Cruz will attend the University of Hawaii at Manoa in the fall and major in biology. She is the daughter of Robert and Jocelyn de la Cruz.

Galdones will major in biology at the University of Portland in Oregon beginning this fall. She is the daughter of Ric and Magelin Galdones.
