Organizers of the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival, Hawaii’s oldest food festival, selected an entry by freelance graphic designer Linda Huff as the 2017 festival’s signature art.
Huff’s winning art will be showcased as the official poster of the 47th annual Kona Coffee Cultural Festival scheduled for Nov. 3-12.
Huff’s art piece is a culmination of all her loves of the Big Island: Kona coffee, the ukulele, surfing, whales, sunsets, hibiscus, historical churches and most importantly — aloha.
Starting Oct. 15, the official 2017 festival poster and retail merchandise will be available at Kona Coffee &Tea Co. in Kailua-Kona, and at various festival events throughout the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival.
Every year the Kona Coffee Cultural Festival hosts more than 40 events during 10 days that are wide-ranging and showcase nearly 200 years of Kona coffee heritage.
