The county Department of Parks and Recreation announced that the Keaau Community Center was reopened Wednesday following a thorough cleanup and maintenance at the facility. The community center had been closed since May 24 and originally was expected to reopen July 10.
The department appreciates and thanks the public for its assistance and understanding during the closure.
