Judy Rae Eslit, 73, of Waimea died July 5 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Cleveland, she was a homemaker who loved animals, knitting and her family. Celebration of life at a later date. Survived by husband, Marcos Eslit Sr. of Waimea; son, Marcos Eslit Jr. of Kapolei, Oahu; daughters, Petra (Kekai) Kaleleiki of Waimea and Angelina Eslit of Kapolei; brother, James Manley of Michigan; sister, Jane Williams; nine grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. Mutsuko “Boots” Higashi, 95, of Honokaa, formerly of Honolulu, died June 26 at home. Born in Ahualoa, Honokaa, she was a retired accounting supervisor for RCA Global Communications and former volunteer at Kuakini Medical Center.
