Cruising for pot?
Dear Gov. David Ige, Mayor Harry Kim, Police Chief Paul Ferreira and the Tribune-Herald:
Will you please explain to the people of Hawaii why, for the last two days, you are wasting money using four helicopters circling around at low altitude counting medical cannabis plants?
There’s no money for fresh food for seniors this year, no money to fix leaking sewers in Keaukaha, no money to fix or buy a new Hele-On bus this year, BUT YOU ARE USING TAXPAYER MONEY CRUISING FOR POT PLANTS?
Really? That is the best use of our precious resources? Since none of you ever respond to my emails, it would be nice to give a public answer here in the media, for all persons to see.

Give ’em the boot
I am requesting the assistance of the Tribune-Herald (an upstanding member of the “Fourth Estate” — now known as “fake news”) to help me procure the following information: I would sincerely hope you could provide the rubber boot size of these individuals so I could bestow these very needed gifts.
My request begins with our president of the United States; next, his son-in-law and wife — Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump. I would be extremely remiss to forget to include Donald Trump Jr., Paul Manafort, Steve Bannon and Michael Flynn.
If anyone would like to contribute to this “Rubber Boot Fund,” perhaps we will have enough to order full-body camouflage waders from Dick’s Sporting Goods — they might be more useful.
In conclusion, please vote with intelligence. You only get what you ask for.
P.S. I think we might have enough funds to send a pair to Hillary Clinton, also.
