The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Family History Center is hosting a free genealogy conference from 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. July 29 at the Hilo Stake, 1373 Kilauea Ave.
This year’s theme is “It Runs In The Family.” Be inspired, learn of possibilities, further your quest in genealogy work and the importance of legacy.
The conference is open to the public and a light lunch will be provided. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m.
Keynote speakers for the conference are Randy and Cecilia Day, area and temple family history consultants. There also will be a special display titled “History of the LDS Church in Hawaii” by Gail Kaapuni.
