Patrick B. Salvador, 55, of Naalehu died July 22 at home. Born in the Philippines, he was a laborer for Mac Farms of Hawaii. Born in Magsingal, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines, he was a retired county landscaper, sugar plantation chemist, grocer, butcher, papaya farmer, member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ainaola and Waikahi wards, ordinance worker for the Kona LDS temple, hunter, fisherman and gardener. Visitation 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday (Aug. 19) at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Hilo Stake Center, 1373 Kilauea Ave. Service at noon. Casual attire; flowers welcomed.
