Brian Jefferson of the Pirate Kitchen checks the status of a wood-fired pizza he’s making for a customer Aug. 15 during the Hakalau Farmers Market and FoodSHARE at its temporary location of Mystic Palms in Hakalau. The family-owned business started in March and sets up at Laupahoehoe Farmers Market as well. The Hakalau farmers market is open 2:45-5:30 p.m. every Tuesday.
