Discover your higher education options during a Degree Preparation Workshop at the Hawaii Community College-Palamanui campus in Kona. The 90-minute workshop is scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. today in the Koali Building (A), Room 106.
The University Center, West Hawaii delivers more than 50 degree and certificate programs from across the 10-campus University of Hawaii system. West Hawaii residents can obtain degrees from UH-Manoa, UH-Hilo and UH-West Oahu without moving away. The University Center provides the local student support for the distance learning degrees offered through the center.
Distance learning master’s degrees also are offered through the UH-Manoa Shidler College of Business.
Today’s Degree Preparation Workshop will review degrees offered in West Hawaii, the necessary steps to move forward, key deadlines, methods of program delivery, what it takes to be a successful distance learning student and more.
