To familiarize people with the program, the Hilo Woman’s Club is hosting a free, potluck luncheon and presentation by the Senior Medicare Patrol from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Sept. 26 at HWC clubhouse.
Topics that will be discussed include Medicare basics, the ABC’s of reading your Medicare statement, how to avoid being scammed, what to be aware of with Medicare, the importance of volunteering in the community and more.
