Michigan artist Mary-Louise Totton’s “The Perpetually Shifting Present, A,” an acrylic, pen and mica on canvas, will be among the works on display during the juried Hawaii Contemporary Arts Exhibit that opens today at the East Hawaii Cultural Center in Hilo. The theme of the exhibit is “Isolation.” An artists reception begins at 6 p.m. today. The public is welcome. The gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
