HFS Federal Credit Union is giving 300 Big Island high school seniors a chance to learn some financial fundamentals during a Reality Fair from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Oct. 1 at Sangha Hall, 398 Kilauea Ave. in Hilo.
Students will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience of what it means to manage a family household budget of their own by taking a glimpse into the future with a career, family and many choices to make surrounding their lifestyle and how much it will cost.
Attendees also will receive a swag bag and lunch for their participation and be entered to win lucky number prizes.
Registration is underway and ends Sept. 15, while spots are available.
