Located in downtown Hilo at 191 Kilauea Ave., across from Lucy’s, Good Earth Sandals are made on-site from 100 percent North American leather with vegan options in the works. Customers have the option to personalize their sandals through multiple sole colors, leather embossing, lace colors and decorative beads.
“Our sandals are made for everyone — travelers, wanderers, artists, poets, musicians and nature lovers,” McCloskey said.
Customers can watch sandals being made as they shop. Sandals are designed for comfort and durability and can be dressed up with beads and designer laces or worn casually. McCloskey said his sandals are perfect for the minimalist footwear enthusiast and those looking for a quality, local handmade product.
