The Hawaii County Department of Parks and Recreation invites seniors 55 and older to attend this year’s Akamai Living Fairs in Hilo and Kona.
The free events will feature health screenings, seminars, vendors, entertainment and door prizes.
The Akamai Living Fairs are co-sponsored by the county Department of Parks and Recreation’s Elderly Activities Division and Hawaii Medical Service Association.
• The Hilo fair is scheduled for 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Oct. 20 at Edith Kanaka‘ole Multipurpose Stadium.
• In Kailua-Kona, the fair is from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Nov. 3 at the West Hawaii Civic Center.
