Hospice of Hilo is offering a free presentation titled “Grief Touches Everyone” from 3-4:30 p.m. Oct. 25 for community professionals serving those whose lives are affected by loss.
Participants will meet at Hospice of Hilo’s Community Room located at 1011 Waianuenue Ave.
Facilitated by Hospice of Hilo bereavement counselors, participants will learn about common responses to loss and how grief can affect adults and children emotionally, cognitively, physically, socially and spiritually.
An overview of the organization’s free community bereavement services also will be provided.
The workshop is highly recommended for teachers, counselors, case managers, social workers and caregivers.
