Mariano Udarbe Ubilas, 90, of Kapaau died Sept. 23 at North Hawaii Community Hospital. Born in Magsingal, Ilocus Sur, the Philippines, he was a kitchen utility worker at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel, member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a U.S. Army veteran.
